Increased soil pH due to the application of sulfate-reducing bacteria, rhizobia and amendments to acid sulfate soils planted with soybeans

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of combination Sulfate Reducing Bacteria, Rhizobia, and amendment matters on soil pH acid sulfate planted with soybeans, carried out at Greenhouse, Soil Biology Laboratory, Research Faculty Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, from March September 2021. used a factorial randomized block design 2 factors 3 replications. Each factor consists 4 levels. The first were H0 (Control); H1 (Sulfate Bacteria); H2 (Rhizobia bacteria); H3 Bacteria + Rhizobia Bacteria), second was B0 B1 (EFB organic doses 15 tons/ha); B2 30 B3 (Lime CaCO3 7.5 tons/ha). research showed that able increase significantly. Application EFB tons/ha, Lime tons/ha can increased pH.
